UX/UI + AI: Interfaces That Anticipate User Intent
Design principles for assisted experiences without sacrificing clarity, accessibility, or trust.
An interface with AI should not feel like opaque magic. Users need to understand what the system does, what data it uses, and how to correct or override an incorrect suggestion.
Principles we apply: progressive disclosure (show AI when it adds value, not on every screen), immediate feedback, honest loading states, and brief explanations of why something is suggested.
Is your catalog ready for shopping agents?
Free diagnosticAccessibility is not optional: contrast, keyboard navigation, screen readers, and alternatives when AI is unavailable. An assistant that only works by voice excludes users and contexts.
Trust is built through transparency: cite sources in responses, allow editing before sending, and never block critical flows behind a chatbot with no human exit.
We prototype in Figma, validate with real users, and measure completed tasks—not just engagement with the AI widget. Successful design reduces friction; it does not move it to another channel.
